who is rawk Flagz?

Rawk Flagz started almost by accident. Dimo, a longtime music-venue owner, ordered a batch of flags to promote his bar. When he showed them to Simon—his former manager and a metal/punk musician—Simon asked what a custom banner for his own band would cost. The price was surprisingly affordable, and it sparked a simple idea: if they could get high-quality custom band banners without the usual high price tag, maybe other bands could too.

After talking it through, they realized they could help musicians get the kind of stage banners, scrims, band flags, and custom merch that usually wipe out a band fund. Between them, they’d worked with thousands of bands and knew exactly how tight money can be when you’re trying to tour, record, and keep the gas tank full.

Today, Rawk Flagz focuses on helping artists, DIY touring bands, venues, and independent artists order custom stage banners and affordable band merch quickly, reliably, and at prices bands can actually manage. The goal was never to become a massive company—it's to support the music community by making good-looking, professional stage gear accessible to everyone.

 

ORDERING CUSTOMIZATION

How do I place an order for custom flags, banners, or scrims?

Ordering is simple. Visit our website and choose your category:

Select your size, upload your artwork, and checkout. We handle print prep, production, and shipping from there.


Can I order multiple designs in one bulk order?

Currently only Scrims allow multiple designs in one bulk order. Multi-design options for other items are coming soon.


Can you print custom sizes?

Yes! We can print almost any custom size for backdrops, banners, and flags.
Send your dimensions through our Contact Page and we’ll send you a quote ASAP.


ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS

What file format should my artwork be in?

For large-format prints (backdrops, banners, scrims, flags), use high-resolution PNG, TIFF, or Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG).
For smaller merch (hats, beanies, beer cozies), high-quality PNG files work great.
Always upload the highest-resolution artwork you have.


Can you match specific brand colors (Pantone)?

Yes—we can match Pantone and CMYK values as closely as possible using our digital printing system.


Do you offer templates or previews for each product?

Not yet, but a preview/design tool is in development. More customization features coming soon.


PRODUCT DETAILS

What materials do you use for stage backdrops, banners, and scrims?

All Stage Banners, Backdrops, Flags, and Scrims are made from 100% polyester, chosen for durability, vibrant color, and easy transport.


Are your flags and banners double-sided or single-sided?

They’re technically double-sided, but the reverse side is mirrored. They’re intended for single-sided display.


What are DrumCovrz and how do they work?

Our DrumCovrz are stretchable slip-on bass drum covers (fits 20–26"). Perfect for backline shows or shared kits, they display your band’s logo boldly and swap on/off in seconds.


DURABILITY  TOUR USE

How durable are your backdrops, banners, and scrims for touring?

All Rawk Flagz products are road-ready—durable, lightweight, compact, and travel-friendly.
Avoid creasing when folding or tightly crumpling them under gear; you may need to iron out wrinkles, but the print won’t be damaged.


HARDWARE  SIZING

Do your flags come with grommets or pole pockets?

All Custom Flags come with strong grommets.
Large stage backdrops and banners are grommeted approximately every two feet for secure mounting.


PRINT QUALITY

What printing method do you use?

We use a professional digital printing process designed for bright, long-lasting, high-resolution prints on polyester fabric.


SHIPPING  DELIVERY

What’s your turnaround and shipping time?

Most orders arrive in just over 2 weeks, but we recommend allowing up to 4 weeks—especially for tours, festivals, or deadlines.


Do you ship worldwide?

Absolutely—Rawk Flagz ships worldwide.


Do you provide tracking information?

Yes. Once your order ships, your tracking number is emailed automatically.


Do you collect import duties or taxes?

Import duties are charged by the courier via the UPS or Fedex app when you recieve your tracking number—usually around $20 - $30 CAD. Unfortuantly these fees are outside our control. 


PAYMENTS  PRICING

Do you offer bulk discounts?

Yes—bulk discounts apply to most merch items.
Backdrops, banners, and scrims are excluded from bulk pricing.


What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, and secure online payment options.


POLICIES

What if my order arrives damaged?

If your order arrives damaged, blurry, or printed incorrectly, contact us immediately. We’ll fix the issue—your stage presence matters.

Do you work with small bands or only touring acts?

We work with ALL bands—local, regional, touring, or just starting out. Whether you’re playing your first gig or hitting a festival stage, Rawk Flagz is here to support you.
